Mills without blower type BHOS

Mills without blower type BHOS

Mills without blower type BHOS, when compared with a blower mill, deliver a significantly better milling performance than a blower mill at the same power rating. The reason is that a BHOS mill dedicates the whole motor power to milling, without having to divert part of the power for the conveyance of grain/bruised grain.

The BHOS assists in saving up to 40 % of energy costs in your milling and mixing plant.

The BHOS is available in two sizes with Mills without blower type BHOS . For efficient operation the mill is equipped with 24 or 32 hard metal hammers. A durability of over 5.000 t is possible. Our reinforced round hole and wire mesh screens, too, have high durability.

The milling performance varies between 1.9 and 8.5 t/h, depending on screen size and grain consistency. Delivering a a high-quality feed with a minimal percentage of fine meal – an important contribution to animal health – is another advantage of this mill type.

Your advantages at a glance:

  • superior efficiency
  • robust rotor
  • minimum maintenance requirements
  • extreme durability
  • excellent milling performance
  • optimum feed consistency
  • minimum warming of the bruised grain
  • maximum screen surface
  • cost-efficient and energy-saving
  • quiet running
  • automatic mode for usage of off-peak power

We recommend to use an autofilter when a mill without blower is installed. The fully-automatic Buschhoff autofilter performs the following tasks:

  1. It extracts the bruised grain out of the mill, resulting in a very low proportion of fine meal.

  2. It causes the bruised grain to cool down after the milling process. Ingredients are thereby preserved, and the build-up of condensate – with its negative aftereffects – is avoided.

  3. It causes low pressure inside the whole plant, which prevents the escape of dust.
