EuroTier 2010 exhibition. Worldwide interest in Buschhoff products

Apart from the high performance conveying technology (now completely revised) with the round and hot-dip galvanised bucket elevators BE and the especially robust trough chain conveyors BTK with an hourly performance of 150 t/h each, the Buschhoff company presents at the EuroTier fair more innovations for 2011:

Efficient and sorted feed discharge with the new bruised grain blower

The proven Buschhoff bruised grain blower SG 50 has grown into a larger variant, the SG 80. Discharge performance increases to 8 – 10 t/h of processed feed. By way of the high-pressure operation (0,6 bar) the blower is extremely energy efficient, its special soundproofing cares for comfortably quiet operation. The advantages offered by discharge via a bruised grain blower of the SG-series are: completely automatic access to distant discharge targets (up to 300 m), no need for complex pipe supports – easy to arrange steel bends will do. As with dense phase conveying there is no residue in the pipe lines, pneumatic discharge ensures a highly hygienic procedure, furthermore the pureness of the different kinds of feed is ensured. Moreover the available Buschhoff control provides optimum adjustment of the performance/distance ratio.

Simple, clean, efficient: The new grain purifier in front of the mill

Foreign objects coming with the grain, stones for example, are not only responsible for a shorter lifetime of wear parts and the mill as a whole, they also cause considerable interruption of normal operation sequences. This is an obvious nuisance for plants which are designed to use off-peak power and to run in a highly automated mode of operation. An economic solution is the newly developed drum purifier BTR. The large screen drum provides efficiency by its special construction and enables a performance of 4 t/h. The purifier not only separates unwanted large foreign objects, but also prevents dust and similar fine ingredients to be inserted into the proper milling operation. This is achieved by drum rotation with an integrated extraction. Usage of the purifier results in better feed quality and unobstructed operation of the mill.

Innovation offensive 2010: All Buschhoff novelties at a look

The engineering company Buschhoff from Ahlen presents at the Agritechnica in Hanover its comprehensive product range of milling and mixing technology as well as conveying and storage. We shall display – apart from proven classics like the efficient  BHOS hammer mill with autofilter, the 5 ton compact mixer, and the versatile and user-friendly control technology – a range of absolute novelties.

Better quality of feed: The BHOS DUO mill delivers more structure of feed

An real innovation for on-site milling and mixing is the hammer mill BHOS DUO. This mill combines the excellent throughput performance of mills without blower and the flexibility which otherwise is provided only by two separate mills. The new development, though, is engineered to provide 2 different screens and bi-directional rotation. Thereby it is able to produce 2 completely different feed structures without the need for a manual screen change, extremely interesting when milling wheat and barley. A plant with the DUO mill offers more flexibility in feed production, easier operation, and a significant economy of time. More economic advantages are provided by the fine-tuning of high-quality feed production and by the better feed intake by the animals.

Convenient control for modern feed production

Moreover Buschhoff presents the prototype of the new - Windows-based - control technology, the WIDOMIX PRO. This multi-lingual professional version includes not only all the known functions of the established WIDOMIX® control for milling, weighing, mixing, and feed conveyance, but furthermore it offers vastly better functionality: Besides operation and maintenance of the complete concentrated feed plant, also via the internet, this control can handle a considerably larger number of feeding targets and components than as yet, and even with higher speed. The software is neatly visualised, allows for the integration of an individually customised workflow, and offers a variety of operational analysis.

New mobile plant for concentrated feed: If just big is not enough

The innovation offensive will be completed by the presentation of the lastest development, the TOURMIX TWINPOWER. This mobile plant for concentrated feed is equipped with a tandem concept of two mixers (each 6 t), two weighers, and two blowers. This enables not only to process larger mixtures, but provides even more operational flexibility, e.g. alternating operation of both mixers, with subsequently a significant increase in utilisation compared with everything else currently offered on the market.
